Chris Dyer (tenor) - also the interim director of Cor Musica, Chris has recently completed Nephrology fellowship and residencies and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa and has joined the Internal Medicine Associates of Davenport. Besides Cor Musica, Chris performs with the Doctet, a jazz combo of practicing physicians, and has recently performed for the Johnson County Medical Society, Musick's Feast and Riverside Theatre. Chris graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he founded and directed the Baylor Centennial Choir and was a co-founder of Voces Dei. His undergraduate work included double majors in Chemistry and Music Composition, and the founding of DoubleTake, a mixed jazz a cappella group, at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Chris is pleased to have his wife back in the country and wishes her the best of luck in locating her passport.
Elizabeth Dyer (soprano) - is the Music Director of Cor Musica and has recently returned from Ireland on a Fulbright scholarship. This autumn she begins a PhD. in Musicology at the University of York, U.K. Elizabeth holds a M. Mus in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri in Columbia and a M.Mus in Music Composition from the University of Houston. Her other recent professional credits include the Michael Deppe Scholarship, the Serophim Prize in Composition and the Aurelia B. Walford Scholarship in Classical Music. In addition to Cor Musica, Elizabeth has founded and/or directed several other ensembles including The Courtly Ayres in Iowa City, Iowa, Voces Dei in Houston, Texas, Omni in Washington, D.C. and DoubleTake in Williamsburg, Virginia with her husband, Chris. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degrees in Music Composition and English from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Amandine Mothershed (soprano) - joined Cor Musica in the fall of 2004. She discovered the arts at the tender age of five, and by the time she entered college, had performed all over the United States and Europe. In addition to singing, her arts influences include many years of studying the violin, as well as ballet with the U of I Dance Department. Amandine received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (voice emphasis) and a French minor from The University of Iowa. During that time, she was involved with many choirs, such as University Choir and the U of I Opera Chorus. She has also sung with the Cedar Rapids Opera Chorus, and is currently a member of the Chamber Singers of Iowa City.

Lisa Peperkorn (soprano) - a founding member of Cor Musica, Lisa is also a proud member and President of Chamber Singers of Iowa City. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in music from the University of Iowa. A lifelong singer, Lisa has been involved with various choral groups including the U of I Opera Chorus, St. Charles County Choral Society of Missouri, the University of Iowa Women's Chorale and University Choir. During the day, Lisa is an Assistant Box Office Manager at Hancher Auditorium. Lisa would like to thank her family and her music teachers who have helped her find this path of making music out of life.
